Fast Guys Automotive Hosts Heritage Day Event

As part of North Adams Heritage Day on Saturday, Fast Guys Automotive is hosting a free Loud and Proud event from 5:30-9:30 p.m. with music, free food, car competitions, prizes and more.

Chris Parish, co-founder and co-owner of Fast Guys Automotive, said he was thrilled to host the free event for the first time.

“Too many things cost way too much money and so I’ve put this together so we can go out and support local small business, while providing an event that will bring the community together,” Parish said.

Mexican restaurant El-Cerritos provides food and a DJ. Food will be free for all participants.

The event will also include a burnout contest, exhaust contest, most modified car contest, free raffles, door prizes and a corn hole contest.

All events are free and prizes and trophies for all competitions have been provided by Fast Guys, community sponsors and partners.

Parish said the community response to the event was overwhelming.

“It was huge. It was absolutely massive,” he said. “Between views, interactions, messages sent, people who said they were interested or going, there are about 2,000 people who have responded to the event so far.”

Launched in 2020, Fast Guys Automotive is a full-service performance, repair and service center that also provides automotive details.

“I just think of myself as an innovative small business owner who takes pride in operating with heart, care and being fair to everyone,” Parish said, “We just want to show people that we care about the community and that we can’t wait to see everyone get together and have a great time.

Fast Guys Automotive is located at 4582 Knowles Road in North Adams.
