List of M’sian games launched during the pandemic and where to play them

Throughout the pandemic, we are seeing more and more people are becoming gamers, whether through board games, mobile games, or even video games, which is no surprise.

Some of the more popular games that I always see in friend posts are Overcooked, Valorant, Genshin Impact, etc. And of course, the infamous Among Us which went viral last year.

But not all of this was made locally, although we noticed that more and more local products appeared during the pandemic. In this article, therefore, we would like to highlight some Malaysian games launched during the pandemic that may have been overlooked in the shadow of more popular global games.

The game is set during the Hungry Ghost month, and it’s a decision-based game with conversations and a storyline that centers around having a mysterious new neighbor play with you. As you play, you are bound to find scenes and interactions that feel extremely familiar to you, and without a doubt, the developers have definitely captured the authenticity of the lifestyles presented.

This game is for cooperation lovers. The pandemic cooking mania was not limited to IRI, but is also simulated in this game, albeit in a less direct way. Instead of baking bread normally, you should pick up walking dough characters, toss them into each other until they become a large piece of dough, and toss them in an oven.

Oh, and did we mention there are some slimy enemies that will try to corrupt your dough and hurt you? So you will be faced with multiple obstacles when trying to cook too.

The current world, Prism, is set 7 years later after the events of the first Postknight, so you don’t really have to play the first one before playing the sequel. As the game is still in development, you may encounter some bugs during the game, such as UI sizing issues, stuck loading screens, etc.
