Sonoran Creek Marketplace tenant list fills with the addition of a large retailer and other businesses.

Marshalls, the low-cost clothing and homewear retailer, will occupy the 21,950 square foot space just south of the Sprouts Farmers Market grocery store, according to the mall developer Thompson Thrift’s marketing website. .

Other companies signing leases are Thai Chili 2 Go, a fast-growing and laid-back Thai food chain in Arizona, and ATI Physical Therapy, a research-based physiotherapy provider with offices throughout the valley.

These additions bring to 14 the number of known tenants in the center, which spans 19 acres at the southwest corner of John Wayne Parkway and Edison Road. There are apparently still a few places available.

Andrew Call, vice president of development management for the Southwestern Thompson Thrift region, said in April that construction of the center was on track to be completed in the third quarter of this year, with some tenants likely opening early. of the fourth trimester.

Sprouts has set an opening on August 25.

Sonoran Creek will bring 82,000 square feet of new retail space, 282 new jobs generating $ 10.4 million in annual wages and total economic output of over $ 25.6 million per year, according to estimates by the city.
