Pizza Hut restaurant outraged by bottle of ‘sexual’ ketchup
A Pizza Hut customer raised concerns over a tomato ketchup label, fearing it was “inappropriate” for children.
Adrian Shann had dinner at the restaurant for the first time this week.
But the 31-year-old has felt “very worried” over the bottle of tomato sauce which he says has “sexual” connotations.

The label on the bottle reads “Shake, Squeeze and Squirt,” which Adrian says looks like a “swinger app.”
He’s now asking Pizza Hut – which has branches in Festival Park and Newcastle – to change the bottles.
Adrian told Hull Live: “It’s not innocent in my eyes.
“The barbecue sauce said ‘Squeeze’, but the ketchup one said that, it put me off using it.
“It literally looks like a swingers app. I don’t understand how anyone could put that sentence together, it’s awful.”
He added: “It is because of the channel’s marketing aimed at children that I am worried.”
Describing his dining experience, Adrian claims a family there at the same time he noticed the labeling as well.
He said: “The adults laughed and then the children asked their parents to tell them about it.
“If I had my niece with me I would be worried. It is certainly not appropriate.”
Adrian insisted the brand “isn’t innocent,” adding, “They have to make it kid-friendly. I hope they change it.”
Pizza Hut was approached for comment.
