Rochester’s Cookbook features food and drink recipes from chefs and bartenders


For the second year in a row, content creators Stephanie Hanna and Casey Bowker have teamed up to publish a cookbook featuring recipes from chefs and bartenders in the Rochester area.

Hanna photographed the dishes and the cookbook was designed by graphic designer Rebecca Flisnik from Rochester.

A place at the table Volume 2 is a softcover cookbook with 20 recipes from chefs and bartenders from Voula’s Greek Sweets, Salena’s Mexican Restaurant, Mama Lor’s Cafe, Palermo’s Market, Tree Town Cafe, Brown Hound Downtown, Chef’s Catering, Good Smoke BBQ, Effortlessly Healthy, Bobo’s Chicken Shack, Julia K. Caters, Simply Crepes, Cut, Flour, RoCoCo Coffee Co., Nolan’s on Canandaigua Lake, Sapori Catering, Nox, Kiss Me Cookie and Tournedo’s Steakhouse. Each recipe is accompanied by a story about its creator.

A portion of the sales will go to CURE Childhood Cancer Association.

Cookbooks, $ 25 each, can be ordered in advance for pickup from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 27 at Mercantile on Main, Sibley Square at 240 E Main St., and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. December 19 at Stacey K Floral, 43 Russell Street

It will also be available at local stores, restaurants and bookstores. A digital download of the cookbook will be available for $ 20.

Casey Bowker is the host and creator of ROConnoisseur, a YouTube show that explores the bars and restaurants of upstate New York.

Stephanie Hanna is the founder of Sip and Savor Rochester and the creator of the popular Chef Throwdown series.
