Where: Wichita Union Stockyard
Tracy Byrd and the full band will be at the Wichita Union Stockyards on Saturday, October 22, 2022. He has recorded over thirty hit singles during his career. Doors will open at 7 p.m. with a start time of 8:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are available at kwlsradio.com or by calling 316-945-1079. Get ready to do the “Watermelon Crawl,” a slow dance to “Keeper of the Stars” and two-steps to several of his hit songs.

Tallgrass Film Association will present two films in the caves of Strataca in Hutchinson. Journey to the Center of the Earth airs at 11 a.m. and The Descent at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 for the movie or $30 for both and include access to the Strataca exhibits 650 feet below the surface.

We refreshed the interior and exterior, upgraded our televisions and revamped our menu. We’ll be celebrating Mulligan’s 25th birthday on October 22 with a party your audience won’t want to miss! The party starts at 11 a.m. and continues until the doors close at 2 p.m.

Midwest Super Show is Kansas’ largest indoor auto show, with cars from across the country competing in the Midwest Wego final showdown.
■ Day of the Dead Food Festival | October 22
Where: Rodríguez Fashion
This event is organized by members of the local Mexican folk dance group Raices de mi Tierra to raise funds for new costumes and fun group activities that promote team unity. We will be selling Mexican food specialties such as Tamales, Elote (aka Esquite), Pozole, Buñuelos, Champurrado, Horchata, Mexican Sweet Bread (Conchas) and many other delicious things!

Join us for a fun and spooky murder mystery fundraiser on Saturday, October 29 – just in time for Halloween! Participants will take part in a mysterious story that will unfold throughout the evening and will end with the unmasking of a murderer. Guests will be given a role to play in a 1920s Gatsby-inspired speakeasy, along with character information and costume suggestions. You are free to have as much fun as you want with these suggestions and be creative.
