The Rascally Diner open air theater production in Alderholt

Cook up a stink with the kitchen team at Rufus Skumskins O’Parsleys or bring a banging pot and keep the devil cakes away, as the LAStheatre comes to Alderholt this summer.

The Rascally Diner outdoor theater show is a fun and messy performance about food and arrives on the Alderholt Festival Hall grounds at 2.30pm on Thursday 28th July.

Chef Rufus Skumskins O’Parsley is famous for creating some of the world’s most disgusting dishes. Audiences may know him from the award-winning children’s book The Rascally Cake, written by Jeanne Willis and Korky Paul.

Rufus went viral after baking a massive human-eating cake from ingredients including snot, grease, and cow dung. He only escaped being gobbled up by the horrible cake because it tasted awful – a result of his filthy diet.

For 10 years now, Rufus has been on a mission to turn everyone evil and protect them from the creature he’s concocted…

Join LAStheatre for a show that explores food provenance, sustainability and healthy eating in a silly, song-filled outdoor show for kids five and up and their families.

As this is an outdoor event, members of the public are advised to dress for all weathers and bring their own chair/blanket to sit on. More information and tickets available online at artsreach.co.uk
