This Ottawa restaurant has new giant shiny palm trees and they look straight out of Miami
Talavera Cocina Mexicana recognizes the cultural significance of this dish, adding its own exotic touch to their little corner of Boulevard Ponce De Leon by making it into a soup.
At first glance, the iguana might not seem like the most delicious dinner, but it looks absolutely mouthwatering and its partner ingredients deliver that traditional Mexican flavor.

Their aphrodisiac dish is called Iguana Pozole, with pozole being an authentic traditional Mexican soup. The rich stew features green iguana, seasoned with a combination of poblano peppers, jalapenos for a little spice, and tomatillo – topped with lime and tortilla chips.

This exotic combo will take you on a little trip to Mexico without ever leaving the Sunshine State. Talavera Cocina Mexicana will now offer this new dish every Thursday on its lunch and dinner menus.
